![]() That said, If I'm listening to P8 for more than an hour I get used to the sound very much and BA timbre doesn't bother at all. I try my best to describe what i personally feel and hear on the P8. While I'm not quite experienced yet, here is my short initial impressions for the same. I just got a review unit from Hifigo review tour here in India. I've been lurker here and haven't posted at all hoping to start posting/sharing my thoughts on gear often. Lot of talks about Aful Performer 8 already. Main con for me would be the soundstage, I'm a bud head so I look for soundstage on pretty much on all gears lol and P8 doesn't have a big stage, its quite in the head. Highs are detailed and inoffensive yet sounds full but again personal preference/nitpicking, I could feel BA timbre but doesn't take away the fun of listening. But being used to DD drivers i can notice BA timbre at times, that's personal preference. Mids on these are forward and clean, no bloat. Mid bass is good enough and not very much prominent or dominating than the sub bass (which benefits in mids being clean and free from mid bass bloat), texture of bass is great as well. Rumble is felt on songs like Lemon Pepper Freestyle - Drake, Rick ross, Up - Cardi B. I would give 8/10 for fit and comfort.Ĭoming to sound, P8 has beautiful low end with quite deep sub bass. Had them on for 4-5hours straight and it didn't bother me. P8 here sits wonderfully in my small ears and quite comfortable for long sessions as well. More extensive music, poetry, land features, mining and farming terminology would probably be an additional help for those of us trying to translate for either history or genealogy use.First and foremost, to me fit and comfort is very important since that pretty much dictates how closely the intended tuning is heard. ![]() There are basic words that will translate correctly in the lists below the usually-correctly-translated word if you do just the word (Ehedydd = Sylark or Lark, not Skyper Eos = Nightingale) yet the app won't translate them at all (ie, "Eos Cynlais" & "Ehedydd Cynlais" remain exactly as is) - four instance these are titles: either 'Cynlais Nightingale' or 'Skylark of Cynlais' for the second one, as Cynlais is a geographical name. Since it's a descriptive, poetic language - and not the only one that is different than 'subject-verb' being able to translate to grammatically correct English would be a huge help.3/5 On the other hand, the app seems to not apply grammar rules to more complex sentences (more descriptors) or not-ideal punctuation in newspapers before the turn of the century (1900s). ![]() Second, it does a passable job for 1860's-1900 Welsh to English, which is extremely commendable so 5+/5. On the one hand this is virtually the only app that which will translate Welsh at all, which makes me nuts, so 5/5 for that.
